Product and Service Terms: Your Precision Tackle Guarantee

Understanding our product policies in Kingston is crucial for a smooth and satisfying experience. These terms cover custom order terms, quality assurance, and product care, ensuring every piece of Maple Forge Tackle exceeds your expectations.

For custom lure forging and other specialized orders, all specifications provided by the client must be precise and confirmed in writing. Maple Forge Tackle will provide a final design proof for approval before manufacturing commences. Any changes requested after final approval may incur additional costs and revise delivery timelines. We are dedicated to translating your vision into tangible, high-performance tackle.
Every product manufactured by Maple Forge Tackle undergoes rigorous quality control checks at multiple stages of production. Our precision metal finishing ensures superior durability and aesthetic. Products are inspected for material integrity, weight accuracy, finish uniformity, and overall functional performance before shipment. We stand by the craftsmanship of every item.
Estimated delivery timelines are provided at the time of order confirmation and are subject to production schedules and carrier availability. While we make every effort to meet these estimates, they are not guaranteed. Shipping costs and carriers will be communicated beforehand. Clients are responsible for any applicable import duties or taxes for international shipments. For more details, click here to view our full Shipping Policy.
To maintain the longevity and performance of your Maple Forge Tackle products, we recommend rinsing with fresh water after saltwater exposure and storing in a dry environment. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials that could damage the finish. Proper care ensures your investment continues to perform season after season. Specific care instructions may be included with your product.

Warranty and Return Policies: Our Promise of Durability

We stand behind our craftsmanship. These repair agreements and fishing tackle terms detail our warranty coverage and streamlined return process for any issues arising from manufacturing defects.

Warranty Coverage & Duration

Maple Forge Tackle provides a 1-year limited warranty on all manufactured products against defects in materials and workmanship from the date of purchase. This warranty covers structural integrity and material failures under normal fishing conditions. It does not cover damage due to misuse, modification, improper maintenance, or normal wear and tear.

Return and Exchange Procedures

Unused, stock items can be returned or exchanged within 30 days of purchase, provided they are in original packaging and condition. Custom orders are generally non-returnable unless there's a manufacturing defect or an error by Maple Forge Tackle. Please contact us at [email protected] to initiate a return or exchange process.

Defect Reporting and Resolution Process

If you believe your product has a manufacturing defect, please submit detailed photos and a description of the issue to [email protected]. Our team will review the claim and provide instructions for return or repair. Resolution typically involves repair, replacement, or store credit, depending on the nature of the defect and product availability.

Limitation of Liability and Exclusions

Maple Forge Tackle's liability for any product sold is limited to the purchase price of the product. We are not liable for incidental or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of fish, equipment, or personal injury resulting from the use or inability to use our products. This limitation applies to the fullest extent permitted by law. Certain exclusions may apply based on product type.

Payment and Pricing Terms: Fair Value for Unmatched Quality

Our custom order terms and pricing structure are designed for clarity and fairness, reflecting the premium craftsmanship in every piece of Maple Forge Tackle. We provide transparent product policies in Kingston.

  • Payment Methods Accepted and Processing Procedures

Maple Forge Tackle accepts major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), PayPal, and e-transfers for Canadian customers. All payments are processed securely. For custom or large orders, an invoice will be provided, detailing payment terms and schedules. Orders will only proceed once payment or required deposit is successfully processed.

  • Pricing Structure and Quote Validity Periods

Pricing for stock items is as listed on our website. Custom work is quoted based on material costs, complexity, and labour. All custom quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issuance to account for potential fluctuations in material prices. After this period, a new quote may be required.

  • Deposit Requirements for Custom Work

A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total quoted price is required for all custom manufacturing projects before any work commences. This deposit covers initial material procurement and design time. The remaining balance is due upon completion and before shipment or pickup of the finished product. This ensures commitment from both parties for custom order terms.

  • Cancellation and Refund Policies

Clients may cancel custom orders within 7 days of deposit for a partial refund, minus any costs already incurred (materials ordered, design time). After 7 days, the deposit becomes non-refundable. For stock items, cancellations are possible before shipping. Refunds, when applicable, will be processed within 7-10 business days to the original payment method.
